ClownSnotBombs is a non-profit community circus troupe that believes joy and laughter are a fundamental human right. Our mission is to provide quality affordable entertainment and learning opportunities for all Bay Area communities. We are a company of six multi-talented physical theater artists, circus performers, and musicians, who are dedicated to creating new theater and bringing joy to Bay Area audiences young and old. Founded in 2006 in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, ClownSnotBombs began as a collaboration between circus artists and musicians, touring and performing across the country in a vegetable oil-powered bus. In 2012 we were awarded a CA$H grant administered by Theater Bay Area to create a new work called “A Spaghetti Western,” a contemporary ensemble-based show directed by Faeble Kievman. Additionally we also teach youth programs in the East Bay and host a weekly and free circus skill-share. ClownSnotBombs is a fiscally sponsored project of Living Dream Arts, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
“A Spaghetti Western” is an all new western themed comedy with a circus twist. The show combines physical theater and clown technique with circus skills, acrobatics, dance and original music and was created as an ensemble through an intensive five month development period. Visit our Calendar for upcoming performances of “A Spaghetti Western.”
